Who am I?
Hello!
My name is Izzy,
I am a dedicated tutor with over 2.5 years of tutoring experience and a genuine passion for education. Having successfully completed my GCSEs and A Levels, I am now working towards a degree alongside my Degree Apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce. Although I am now pursuing my own career and studies, I still have a huge passion for teaching, guiding and helping students learn and grow.
Over the past 2.5 years, I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of students, each with different abilities, learning styles and individual needs. I pride myself on being able to adapt my teaching to suit each student, creating personalised, engaging and effective sessions that help them feel confident and make progress.
I have experience delivering private 1-to-1 sessions, group sessions with up to 8 students, and GCSE revision courses. I have also delivered a GCSE Maths crash course with almost 20 students in one session, covering the entire GCSE syllabus in just 6 hours! These experiences have allowed me to develop a flexible and confident approach to teaching different groups of students.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Education and Teaching, alongside qualifications in teaching students with dyslexia, dyscalculia and dyspraxia, as well as teaching numeracy.
My approach is rooted in patience, empathy and enthusiasm. I’m friendly, approachable and love getting to know my students — and I’m always up for a good chat, as long as we’re learning along the way! I want every student to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and being themselves.
Whether we’re building core skills, preparing for exams or growing confidence, I strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where students feel motivated to succeed and proud of their progress.
