So far in my tutoring experience, I have had the pleasure of meeting a wide range of wonderful students from all walks of life. Every student is unique in their own way, with different ways of learning, communicating, and responding to challenges—which is one of the reasons I love my job so much. I get to meet, support, and learn about new people every single day.

I’ve asked some of my students and their parents to share honest and open feedback about their experience with me. Their stories give a real look at the progress we’ve made together along the way.

“My granddaughter Sommer struggles with her maths and as it was coming up to Sats I thought she needed some help! And that’s where Izzy came into an Angel in disguise! Sommer was a bit nervous at 1st but with Izzy being the amazing person she is Sommer felt at ease! Her Maths has come along amazing she looked forward to her weekly lessons with Izzy! I’ve never know her so keen to attend the lessons! Izzy is so patient with Sommer! If anyone is wanting extra help I would definitely 100% recommend Izzy! GCSE Results Success Stories 2025

I am so proud to share the incredible achievements of my GCSE students this year! Every single one of them passed their exams and are now moving on to the next exciting stage of their education. Their hard work, dedication, and resilience have been truly inspiring.

GCSE Foundation mathematics students:

🎉 Poppy

When Poppy first came to me, she was working at a grade 2/3 in maths. In just 3 months, through consistent effort and determination, she achieved a grade 4 in her final exams! This fantastic progress means she is now able to go on to college to study Childcare — a brilliant achievement that opens the door to her future career.

🎉 Milly

Milly was initially achieving around a grade 3 in maths. With steady progress, lots of perseverance, and a positive attitude, she pushed herself up to a grade 4 in her exams. She is now going on to college to continue her studies and take the next step toward her future ambitions.

🎉 Scarlett

Scarlett began at a solid grade 4 but wanted to push herself further. Through hard work and commitment, she raised her grade to an impressive grade 5! She is now moving on to study A Levels at sixth form, a fantastic opportunity that her determination has made possible.

English student:

🎉 Owen

Owen’s story shows how much can be achieved in a short space of time. He came to me for tuition just two weeks before his GCSEs. In that short period, he made huge progress and went on to achieve a grade 5 in English! He is now heading to sixth form to continue his studies.

Each of these students has shown that with the right support, self-belief, and hard work, amazing progress is possible. I am beyond proud of everything they have achieved — not only their exam results, but also the confidence and determination they have built along the way.
